My Fords
As you can read in the “About Me” section, I have a 1977 Ford Transconintental Mark 1 HA4231. At the moment this truck is undergoing a major restoration (see restoration section). As the bodywork on the cab has just been finished, I expect to have the cab back on the chassis by mid 2007.
In April 2006 it was joined by a HA4435 from 1981. This latest Transcontinental is in a remarkable solid and sound condition, was never restored and has only done 160.000 km from new. Although my initial intention was only to improve this truck by removing the white striping and to repaint the bumper, it is being fully reprayed at the moment.
Beside the Transcontinental I also own a heavy Ford Cargo 3824 Sleepercab (with cummins LT10 engine) tractor unit from 1992. This is one of the last Ford Cargo’s imported to The Netherlands, and definitely also one of the last heavy Cargo’s built at Langley.
