Cabs: Yes, you can use a Renault cab on a Ford, even the very last built R-series Renault cab. The main modification that you have to make, is that you have to cut out the top of the engine tunnel. This is the only part that is really different between a Renault and a Ford cab. The front cabmountings are the same, the back cabmountings need a small conversion, just like the A and B pillar extensions which have to shortened. You can not use the Renault doors, but you can still obtain doorsheets from Renault which can be used to repair Transcontinental doors. Off course with a Renault cab you will have a roof hatch, which a Ford never had. All the interiour trim is different but the fittings for the Ford trim is all there! Also you can get from Renault the exteriour trim and clips. The bad news is that the trimming is very expensive but the clips are rather cheap.
