05.12.2005: Relaunch of the website in English language.

29.04.2006: After the launch of the improved website end 2005, I found a lot of irritating mistakes in the text. I have done my utmost best to correct hem. In the time being a found and received a lot of new pictures which I used to update and to extend the galleries which are now in a different format. You will find new stories about the Transcontinental and Sandbach and about the (new) Cargo. Also the registration from is now working, so please use it and sent me the details about your Transcontinental. The next update is planned for August 2006.

: First of all my excuses that it took a little bit longer for the update then originally planned. But there is a good reason for this. I have found a lot of new material which caused my some weekends of scanning them. Special thanks I owe to Friedel Erdelmann, Hans Raats and Rob Mulder, they helped me a great deal and are still helping me with very interesting background information and pictures. As usual the galleries are updated. I am a bit of disappointed that almost no Transcontinental owner took a small moment to sent me the details of his truck(s) be filling in the registration form. Luckily the largerst UK based hobby Transcontinental fleetowner finally sended me the details of his Transcontinentals, so that you will find the first incomplete overview of the remaining Transcontinentals. I enhanced the hyperlinks on the frontpage, they know change color so that you can see were you have been so far. To create space for  more linktabs I moved the Links to a separate page, there is now space for more links and some background information about these links. You will notice that I haved added several new pages and you will find the following new tabs:

PRODUCTION:    Pictures of the Transcontinental production and internal routing.I will translate the documents with the next update.

SCRAPYARDS:   Left overs of Transcontinentals, do they still exist, did someone rescue them?

INTERNAL:           Rare Internal Ford publications which were never intended for publishing

FAMILY:                 A new gallery with pictures of trucks which have a relationship with the Transcontinental

20.10.2006: As usual after the launch of a major update, there are always some bugs, I removed them and again some galleries were updated.
